Dr. Michelle Bargfrede

Dr. Michelle Bargfrede grew up in South Florida.  She obtained a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida, and a M.S. in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, Florida.  She then earned her dental degree from the University of Florida.  Dr Bargfrede began her dental career with a one-year General Practice Residency at the Malcolm Randall Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.  While providing advanced dental care to the Veterans of North Florida/South Georgia, she also gained experience in treating intellectually disabled patients in a clinical and hospital setting.

In 2010, Dr. Bargfrede met her husband, Tim, at UCF.  They maintained a long distance relationship throughout Dr. Bargfrede's education and training (Tim put 100,000 miles on his car in the last two years alone!!!).  Dr. Bargfrede is thrilled to be working in Lake Mary, the city where her husband grew up.  They both enjoy cooking, skiing, biking, running, and golfing.  You can also find them cheering on the Knights at UCF football games.

Dr. Bargfrede enjoys volunteering - locally and internationally.  She has been on dental mission trips to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Dominican Republic. She also serves as a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
